What are you doing that's resulting in files being created in
/usr/src? If you start with a clean src and clean obj, and you get
files created in src, that's definitely an error.

OTOH, if you're doing something other than a buildworld the following
alias may be of use to you:

remake="make cleandir && make obj && make depend && make all"
