I had other patch in this thread that did exactly that + added
sysctl kern.compiler:

So, if that matters, I have no objections to your patch. However I'd like
to see kern.compiler-like sysctl added.

Also if you like feel free to take my patch and improve it (your compiler
detection seems to be more robust).
