I did not see such a problem after building & booting:

FreeBSD g1-227.catwhisker.org 10.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 10.0-CURRENT #817  r247030M/247030: Wed Feb 20 08:13:58 PST 2013     root_at_g1-227.catwhisker.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/CANARY  i386

built with clang.  FWIW.
