I also have similar display corruption when I switch between ttys.
The monitor sometime become black screen with only cursor displayed,
or sometimes get messed like this picture:

Toggling between ttys a few times get things normal, so it is not
really a problem.
I see it on current r265145 and stable/10 r265146.
