Oh, by the way, where is x11-drivers/xf86-video-noveau? I can only find
x11-drivers/xf86-video-nv, which covers old hardware and it is not applicable to the GT
740M (complains, rightfully, that the found device isn't supported by the "nv" driver).

I face a mess here ... :-(
