vt: blank screen switching from X11 to console/vtty

Running a Fujitsu Celsius M740 Workstation with a nVidia Quadro NVS 315 GPU,
most recent driver (346.16), UEFI boot, and FreeBSD 11.0-CURRENT FreeBSD
11.0-CURRENT #1 r282520: Wed May  6 08:14:14 CEST 2015 amd64, switching from
graphics terminal (X11), located at vty7 (xdm) to any console vty[0-6], results
in a blank screen.

I use older nVidia hardware (GTX560Ti) on another system with the same
CURRENT and xorg port (most recent updated), but with legacy boot (no UEFI),
but with vt() enabled and same revision of the nVidia driver, there is no
problem switching from graphical console to consoles.

What is the solution, if any?
