I used a 8 gb micro sd card and a card reader
I installed the previous version (r297692) without any error.

My machine is a Lenovo Thinkpad W550s

The image file I used:
FreeBSD-11.0-CURRENT-amd64-20160429-r298793-memstick.img
<ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/snapshots/amd64/amd64/ISO-IMAGES/11.0/FreeBSD-11.0-CURRENT-amd64-20160429-r298793-memstick.img>
FreeBSD-11.0-CURRENT-amd64-20160429-r298793-mini-memstick.img
<ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/snapshots/amd64/amd64/ISO-IMAGES/11.0/FreeBSD-11.0-CURRENT-amd64-20160429-r298793-mini-memstick.img>

I will try it later with another USB drive if I can find another one.
