This is amd64:

FreeBSD 12.0-CURRENT #386 r320324M/320326:1200035: Sun Jun 25 06:36:19 PDT 2017 root_at_freebeast.catwhisker.org:/common/S4/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC amd64

After a src update to r320353, the last several lines on the serial
console from the initial (verbose) reboot are:

(I have been using encrypted swap for the last few months.)

This appears to be an issue with kernel modules in general:

# kldstat
Id Refs Address Size Name
 1 1 0xffffffff80200000 2081550 kernel
#

This ("freebeast") is not a very "fancy" machine, but I would expect
a few more modules than merely the kernel itself.

(As noted elsewhere, I have been using filemon & WITH_META_MODE=yes
for quite some time.)

For comparative information (as of yesterday's verbose boot of head
_at_r320324), please see <http://www.catwhisker.org/~david/FreeBSD/history/>.

Peace,
david
