As OpenBSD fan, who also uses OpenBSD on EdgerouterLite, I would be pleased to hear that FreeBSD-12 would be a release where PF is updated to some newer version, possibly having parity with OpenBSD. In the meantime it looks like I will need to learn IPFW to do QoS. BTW: I was looking at the whatsnew-wiki of FreeBSD and I can not find any reliable resources of what FreeBSD-12 will be like. On the FreeBSD website it is already noted as incomming, however I have no idea what will be included in this release. Do you know of some? Thanks.
