Like here: https://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/updating-upgrading.html or here: https://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/makeworld.html where someone considering following -current would see immediately that changes were afoot.
