The same problem is also duplicable on 13-RC2. Workaround exists: switch VBox storage layer from PIIX3 to AHCI. E.g. VM's Setting -> Storage -> select Controller node and on the right side -- in Attributes pane -- switch Type from PIIX3/4 to AHCI.
