Hi there,

Is it bug or feature ?

%ldd /boot/kernel/acpi.ko
/boot/kernel/acpi.ko:
%ldd /boot/kernel/kernel
/boot/kernel/kernel:
/boot/kernel/kernel: signal 6
While

%file /boot/kernel/acpi.ko
/boot/kernel/acpi.ko: ELF 32-bit LSB shared object,
Intel 80386, version 1 (FreeBSD), not stripped
%file /boot/kernel/kernel
/boot/kernel/kernel: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel
80386, version 1 (FreeBSD), dynamically linked (uses
shared libs), not stripped

I am in the stage of "questioning" (the files), if
this is a stupid observation just ignore :).

I am running Generic 5.2 cvsuped yesterday (12/15).

%uname -a
FreeBSD host.mynet.edu 5.2-CURRENT FreeBSD 5.2-CURRENT
#1: Tue Dec 16 12:02:30 EST 2003
user_at_host.mynet.edu:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC i386

Thanks,
/Dorin.
