It doesn't work correctly at least on some systems with ICH,
see my report (<20031123231040.GA375_at_iv.nn.kiev.ua>) to current_at_ one
month ago. After it I switched to 80-pin cable and this fixed the
problem personally for me, but not for 40-pin cables.
