Fran: owner-freebsd-current_at_freebsd.org [mailto:owner-freebsd-current_at_freebsd.org]For Sheldon Hearn Skickat: den 17 maj 2003 16:31 For as long as I remember, FreeBSD has had issues booting a kernel beyond the first 1GB of a disk. Some time last year, changes were made that allowed for this, but they were backed out because they caused other problems, and I don't remember them being brought back in. ----------------- I have been running -CURRENT on my ACER laptop for a long time now, with a primary partition using windows at 20 GB and then a BSD partition for the remaining 40 GB, and have had no use of a primary root partition before my windows partition, it works for me(tm) MattReceived on Sat May 17 2003 - 07:04:46 UTC
