Thanks for your suggestion but it didn't work for my case.

The XF86Config.new was created after I execute the 'xf86cfg' and I didn't 
made any modification for it.  I had another machine which works ok after 
xf86cfg (generate the XF86config accordingly).  Then, there should be some 
problem for the xf86cfg to handle the Radeon VE (I guess).
