This one is nasty. It seems that pre-seeding random needs to be added to
the installation procedure, or else people will get stuck in no time in
newfs. BTW, this message is a really close contender for the "most
cute but uninformative error message in FreeBSD" prize coming in close
second after the "Toto, this doesn't look like Kansas any more" from
bsd.ports.mk of yore.

Until this gets fixed, there is really no other way but to cat something
to /dev/random first. But this is difficult since AFAIK there is no
holographic shell open yet at this point in the install.
