netstat -w output wrong?

Running netstat -w 1 on a yesterday's -CURRENT

> netstat -w 1
            input        (Total)           output
   packets  errs      bytes    packets  errs      bytes colls
         0     3        338          0     0          1   361
         0     1        178          0     0          1   126
         0     1        178          0     0          1   126
         0     1        178          0     0          2   186

I'm leaning towards that the columns are just misaligned.  This also
affects a month old -current. I'll send a patch if no one else gets
around to it in a bit, no time right now.

this machine is:
FreeBSD nightfall.csh.rit.edu 6.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 6.0-CURRENT #13: Mon Aug 23 20:32:29 EDT 2004     root_at_nightfall.csh.rit.edu:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/NIGHTFALL  i386

the other machine is:
FreeBSD whack 5.2-CURRENT FreeBSD 5.2-CURRENT #6: Sun May  9 17:09:33 EDT 2004     root_at_whack:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/WHACK  i386
