I'm having a problem with my USB keyboard, whereas the caps-, scroll-,
and num-lock keys work just fine, but I'm not able to type anything.

I attempted to do the above "hint," but that did not do the trick.  I am
attaching a copy of my dmesg output.  Sources were cvsup'd sometime in
the evening (EST) on August 29th.
