USB CDROM not recognizing (while hotplugging) in 5.2 Release

All,

   While 5.2-RELEASE running, I connected the USB CDROM (TEAC CD-210PU).
I was expected some messages in the /var/log/messages file. But nothing
displayed.

When I restart the m/c, I get the following dmesg output: (see the
umass0)

But in Linux AS 3.0 running, When I connect the USB CDROM I am getting
