Hello, I have upgraded to 5.2-CURRENT #5 from yesterday, to test if the following commit fixes my problem, beeing to able to write to an PHILIPS CDRW48P P1.6 ATAPI burner using cdrecord: < -- Revision 1.33 / Wed Feb 11 10:14:08 2004 UTC by thomas (atapi_cb): Reenable automatic retrieve of sense data on error, making it asynchronous to avoid incorrect use of ata_atapicmd within an ATAPI callback. < -- Cdrecord still hangs and throws a timeout after some minutes, leaving the burner unsuable until a system reboot. Trying to abort the record command before the "9 second timeout" gives (sorry for long lines): [...] Executing 'mode sense g1' command on Bus 2 Target 0, Lun 0 timeout 200s CDB: 5A 00 2A 00 00 00 00 00 26 00 cmd finished after 0.000s timeout 200s Mode Sense Data 00 24 12 00 00 00 00 00 2A 1C 07 07 F5 7F 2B 23 21 18 01 00 10 0 0 21 18 00 00 21 18 21 18 00 00 00 00 00 01 21 18 Mode Sense Data (converted) 21 12 00 00 2A 1C 07 07 F5 7F 2B 23 21 18 01 00 10 0 0 21 18 00 00 21 18 21 18 00 00 00 00 00 01 21 18 Mode Sense Data 21 12 00 00 2A 1C 07 07 F5 7F 2B 23 21 18 01 00 10 00 21 18 00 0 0 21 18 21 18 00 00 00 00 00 01 21 18 Set Set Starting to write CD/DVD at speed 48 in dummy SAO mode for single sess ion.
