ok ok.. not all at once, please.. hehehehe well.. I'm sorry to post again.. but as this is quite a problem for us and I'd be grateful if somebody could give some support. As I've seen no answer here, this morning I posted to -scsi as well.. and got no answers either.. so.. that's why I ask again.. and I'll also add some more info by saying that last week I installed another OS on that same machine.. just to make sure it's not a hardware problem.. and it worked without a problem.. went back to FreeBSD and the problem is again there.. The server and the tape drive are younger than 1 year old and the tapes are of good quality. I'd be grateful if somebody could look into these logs and tell me what's the problem...
