Last time I tested and ran into this was on 2004-07-06, I don't use
and special build flags except -j2 or -j4. I also think that I ran into
this once on a non -jN build but with NOCLEAN defined with an empty
$OBJDIR. It always seems to fail while entering the "usb" directory
but I'm not sure as make doesn't tell in which directory it actually
failed.
