Good work guys,

I added CPUTYPE option in make.conf
CPUTYPE?=p2 (in my case :( )
and no more crashes!!!

I would suggest to add CPUTYPE to the default
make.conf to some conservative value; or ask the user
to set it, by a warning. The out-of-the-box make.conf
do not provide it and I supose many (will) hit this
problem when doing upgrade with portupgrade.
Thanks for digging this out.
/Dorin.
