Detection of HTT

Hello,

I have a Intel SE7505VB2 board with two 3.06GHz Xeons

I have disabled HTT in BIOS, but FreeBSD says this during boot anyway:

   Hyperthreading: 2 logical CPUs

Is this harmless, or does this mean the scheduler is running with HTT
awareness?

Mvh,
Frode Nordahl
