Hello, i have been using freebsd since i was around 10 -- i really
love the OS and prefer it to everything else as i grew up on it -- i
am writing concerning how robust the support is for the new macbook --
i was helping to develop ppc freebsd and know some of the new issues
with the macintosh hardware -- now with the new northbridge a lot of
the hardware has been rearranged in terms of controllers -- i was
curious about the acpi concern -- as well as the fact 5 separate usb
devices register for keyboards -- i assume that this is the bluetooth
device searching for and making a device for a non existent component
-- the mouse too does not work -- when clicked it simply drags to the
bottom right -- perhaps at the loader prompt hint.pcib.1.skipslot=26
or some such to avoid the bluetooth -- any comments or questions are
welcomed i'm just curious and want to get some more talk about these
new machines -- the are very well engineered and have all the right
components to run a really nice freebsd system
