acpidump -t -d > Acer_Aspire_1644WLMi.asl
and give a link to this file somewhere on the web?

This problem is well known, and I think FreeBSD will support your
laptop in the near future.  In the meantime we can workaround this
problem by modifiying a little the AML of the DSDT.
