Re: CURRENT Kernel makes the system run very very hot

the funny thing is, I thought I was crazy, but cpu overheating seems
to be happening to me too. I have 5 identical computers 2 of witch are
running FreeBSD 7.0 BETA1 and the other BETA3, this computer was
compiled fresh last weekend, and twice wile running Deluge torrent the
network cards stop working, and I reboot the computer, and it will not
even start it hangs on starting the ssh daemon, and xwindows will not
even start.
I thought this was just the nfe driver being flaky again. but maybe not.

if I leave the computer off for 20 minutes it boots perfect. bios
reports my CPU temp at 48C and 53C

again I have 2 Computers doing this with FreeBSD, the others Run
Fedora core 8 and have no trouble and are in the same eviroment.

the fedora core computers are at 29C and 31C

my info for one of the computers is below. I would be happy to do
anything neccary I could even arrange a root ssh on a public IP for
any devloper that would find it useful, again I have 5 computers
configured exactly the same, completly formating and fresh installing
one of them and letting someone screw with it for a week or so would
be no problem.
