Been using it myself on i386 for a couple of weeks, all I did was 
disabling prefetch and lowering maxvnodes as recommended; Copied over 
120GB of data and been actively using ZFS (with daily snapshots on /home 
et all) for the past weeks, I have no complains. No panics, nothing :)
