My $0.02 personal opinion: if we (say, nobody among -committers_at_ or someone who is actively answering PRs if any) do not intend to maintain it ourselves, then it would be probably a good idea to make it up-to-date with the vendor version, or rename it to something like 'bsdlex' and teach the build infrastructure about it. Build tools should work out-of-the-box and act similar, or at least, not very far from other POSIX operating systems IMHO =-) Cheers, - -- Xin LI <delphij_at_delphij.net> http://www.delphij.net/ FreeBSD - The Power to Serve! -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.9 (FreeBSD) iEYEARECAAYFAklsR80ACgkQi+vbBBjt66AwzgCgwmfKI5JMNKW+zQSMbpZg/ZmF eUAAn0n6VjVqztx4v7xUi/v/6iyfFTBy =dH/3 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----Received on Tue Jan 13 2009 - 06:50:48 UTC
