Correct. And I know what went wrong. Because of this problem with artsd, on October 16 I compiled all my ports again and before this I removed /usr/local/* and /var/db/pkg/* to have a clean environment. The log of the port of www/nspluginwrapper I conserved (like all other logs) and it says: ... ===> Patching for nspluginwrapper-1.2.2_4 ===> Applying FreeBSD patches for nspluginwrapper-1.2.2_4 /bin/rm /usr/ports/www/nspluginwrapper/work/nspluginwrapper-1.2.2/usr/lib/nspluginwrapper/i386/linux/npviewer.ori g ===> nspluginwrapper-1.2.2_4 depends on executable: gmake - found ===> nspluginwrapper-1.2.2_4 depends on file: /usr/local/libdata/pkgconfig/x11.pc - found ===> nspluginwrapper-1.2.2_4 depends on file: /usr/local/libdata/pkgconfig/xext.pc - found ===> nspluginwrapper-1.2.2_4 depends on file: /usr/local/libdata/pkgconfig/xt.pc - found ===> nspluginwrapper-1.2.2_4 depends on file: /usr/local/bin/intltool-extract - found ===> nspluginwrapper-1.2.2_4 depends on executable: pkg-config - found ===> nspluginwrapper-1.2.2_4 depends on shared library: curl.5 - found ===> nspluginwrapper-1.2.2_4 depends on shared library: atk-1.0.0 - found ===> nspluginwrapper-1.2.2_4 depends on shared library: glib-2.0.0 - found ===> nspluginwrapper-1.2.2_4 depends on shared library: gtk-x11-2.0.0 - found ===> nspluginwrapper-1.2.2_4 depends on shared library: pango-1.0.0 - found ===> Configuring for nspluginwrapper-1.2.2_4 ... as you see it is happy with its shared libs; this is because they are looked up in /compat/linux/lib where they have been sitting since the 1st compile of the ports on October, 8; and so later the packages have not been created because there was no linux-f10-curl-7.19.4_4 (for example) in /var/db/pkg; this means for such a clean restart one should also remove all in /compat/linux/ Lession learned. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Flash10 is working now as it should (and even without any freeze on terminating a stream). matthias -- Matthias Apitz t +49-89-61308 351 - f +49-89-61308 399 - m +49-170-4527211 e <guru_at_unixarea.de> - w http://www.unixarea.de/ Vote NO to EU The Lisbon Treaty: http://www.no-means-no.euReceived on Sun Oct 25 2009 - 07:34:16 UTC
