8.0-RC2 mangles msdosfs

Every time I perform write operations on msdosfs, the file system
gets mangled. This is after writing a single file:

> fsck_msdosfs -y /dev/msdosfs/VALHALLA

If I start windows and run a chkdsk there, it will find cross-linked
files and other filesystem nightmares.

This is a dual Core2 Duo machine.

In my opinion this is a show stopper.
