Nothing unusual, standard plain install.  I used an image from 
http://pub.allbsd.org/FreeBSD-snapshots/ downloaded about 2 or 3 days ago.

Used standard procedure:

csup
make buildworld
make buildkernel
make install kernel
make installworld (single user mode)
