Hmm, I think this is a bit less trivial as it involves an entire pass over
the tree (and you'd probably not want to invoke it more than once on a
device, so you'd have to track that, etc.).

Oh, sure.  Have you tried it out?  I have not tested it yet, so I will need to
do that first unless you can do so easily.
