Here, using ppoe:

/etc/ppp/ppp.conf
   ...
   set device PPPoE:re0
   ...

and I find:

# kldstat
  ...
  netgraph.ko
  ng_ether.ko
  ng_pppoe.ko
  ng_socket.ko
  ...
