Problems with 3com 3CCFEM556B combo card 5.1-beta2

Hello all.
  this card works fine for me with 4-stable but for some reason doesn't when booting with -current.(5.1-beta2)

apologies for not getting the whole boot log since it seems something is wrong with the serial port too.

there are obviosly port address differences.. 
IRQ seems to be same..

i shall appreciate all your help.
