I have rebuilt current last Sunday and today. Last Sunday, buildworld failed with default make.conf. I found it would build with CFLAGS=-O -pipe . It failed building insn-attrtab with an internal compiler error. Today, after cvsup'ing this morning, it would not build with default make.conf. Switching to the above CFLAGS, it fails building c_common.c with the same internal compiler error. /usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/cc/cc_int/../../../../contrib/gcc/c-common.c: In function ` c_common_nodes_and_builtins': /usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/cc/cc_int/../../../../contrib/gcc/c-common.c:3465: internal compiler error: in control_flow_insn_p, at cfgbuild.c:130 Please submit a full bug report, with preprocessed source if appropriate. See <URL:http://gcc.gnu.org/bugs.html> for instructions. I have not submitted a report to gcc because I am not confident that this is really a compiler problem. Before last week, buildworld worked (or didn't) quite straightforwardly. This problem has me completely baffled. Hardware is ASUS A7V with AMD Athlon XP 2800+. It seems like vanilla hardware. Memtest86 run for 1-2 hours shows no problems with the memory. The CPU is not overclocked, (1650 Mhz). 1 gig of Crucial pc2700 memory. -- Derek Tattersall dlt_at_mebtel.net dlt666_at_yahoo.comReceived on Sun Dec 19 2004 - 17:31:48 UTC
