Hi folks,

It seems that ps -e has lost its functionality or its behavior has
been changed between 4-STABLE and 5-CURRENT, or I have did something
incorrect?

Sample output on 4-STABLE:
%uname -a
FreeBSD ftp.cn.netbsd.org 4.10-RELEASE-p1 FreeBSD 4.10-RELEASE-p1 #78: Mon Jun 28 09:55:29 CST 2004 delphij_at_ftp.cn.netbsd.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/FTP i386
%ps -e | head -n 2
  PID TT STAT TIME COMMAND
18099 p0 Is 0:00.05 HOME=/usr/local/delphij USER=delphij LOGNAME=delphij PATH=/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/games:/usr/l

Sample output on 5-CURRENT:
%uname -a
FreeBSD beastie.frontfree.net 5.2-delphij FreeBSD 5.2-delphij #80: Thu Jun 24 17:30:33 CST 2004 delphij_at_beastie.frontfree.net:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/BEASTIE i386
%ps -e | head -n 2
  PID TT STAT TIME COMMAND
  395 p0 S+ 0:00.07 vi /tmp/mutt-beastie-sLDOYre1

Is this intentional?

Cheers,
