Quick updates: 1. The marvel patch posted by Xi Lin reconizes PATA drives but doesn't fix the speed mismatch on SATA and/or the acd issues (I think that is the case for the second issue)... I have 2 PATA drives, 1 SATA HDD and a SATA DVD-RW all working fine now (the DVD still experiences the acd issues) -- Aryeh M.
