Could you please try Arne's patch, which implements support for guest devices?
I've not commited it yet, because I'm still trying to figure some things out.

That's strange.  While you're applying that patch, it would be nice if you
could add options PSM_DEBUG=2 to the kernel configuration as well, and let me
know the output of the psm probe (info* and cap* lines).
