Probably not, but I thought that porting wscons used to be on the 5.x TODO 
list, so I'm hoping someone might already have done some work on it and it 
wouldn't take too much to finish porting it.

If it can help keep a good chunk of the USB code up to date, I'd say yes since 
the more I look, the more I see problems with our USB code has been fixed in 
NetBSD.  Anyway I'll see what I can get done in the next few weeks.
